Food crawl with Amy.

Laimagest night Perry Perkins and I went on a mini food crawl with a high school era friend Amy that we haven’t seen in years. We went to four different places and had a great time. Amy was a great hostess that showed us some incredible places to eat.

We started out the night at The Innkeeper Seattle, with a couple of beers, drinks and appetizers. The atmosphere was great. Quiet like a bunch of friends getting together for drinks. The food was good and the company was great.

We then moved on to Pintxo it is a little Spanish tapas restaurant. Wow!!

Here we were treated to some of the best food I have ever eaten at a restaurant. We tried seven or eight plates of various foods ranging from the very best olives I have ever tasted. To an of the menu dish of slow roasted ox tail over mashed parsnips. Each dish just got better and better. We washed it down with one of the best sangria’s ever.

This led us to our main course at LaVita E Bella. We shared a cheese ravioli with king crab and a saffron sauce that was amazing and a rigatoni with Italian sausage and an incredible sauce that I unfortunately don’t remember the name of. Both dishes were not on the menu but specials and were amazing and I would recommend them to anyone wanting really good Italian food.

Little establishment if you don’t know it is there you would never find it. You have to have reservations. Which they only take by text. There web site is <a href=”http://www.kneehighstocking.com”. It is a small little whole in the wall that serves great drinks.

I want to thank Amy for a wonderful food adventure. It was great to catch up and spend some time together. It was also a great kick start to our IFBC weekend.
